I have been in a really bad place lately. I have lost a lot of weight and my mom is sick. I have been going through a lot of emotions. I have been feeling a lot of pressure to find a new job and feel better about my future, but it doesn't seem possible to do that with the things that I have going on at work right now. The last thing I wanted to do was think about dating again, but my friend reminded me of something I had said before: To not choose anyone in order to keep myself open to someone who IS right for me. I am constantly struggling with what to do or where to go next with my life, there is no lack of options, but the decision is mine if I decide not to decide.

And since I can't decide anything right now, I don't want to make a decision that will only lead me down the wrong path. I think that is why I started dating again. Really, what choice do I have? If I didn't date again, would life be so bleak? Would I be any less lonely? Would I look back anytime soon and regret not dating? No matter what happens in the future, at least I have this moment in time right now where nothing needs to be decided or changed. So here goes.
